Cervical Cancer Ranks as the Second Most Frequent Cancer

Indus HealthPlus, in a study conducted on cervical cancer based on checkups of 5000 women from April 2020 to January 2022, has revealed that 17% of women were found to have some fungal or bacterial infection/inflammation. 6% had mild inflammation.
According to Amol Naikawadi, JMD of Indus Health Plus and Preventive Healthcare Specialist, cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women in India and the second most common cancer among women aged 15 to 44 years. Every year many women suffering from cervical cancer die due to late detection or lack of health care facilities. Cervical cancer can cause anxiety.
