Health is wealth keeping this in mind, we can always recommend a separate tax exemption element in 80D with a limit of Rs 30,000 per taxpayer annually for preventive health checkups, including genetic testing for oneself and family, and we may see a special allocation for preventive healthcare. This will help us to make a "Healthy India" by encouraging regular health checkups. Adding to this, we can give a special tax incentive medical benefit to employees of every organization at Rs 1000 each. This would help boost their health. As income tax exemptions for earnings from medical value travel are implemented, the emphasis on this category will grow. Consequently, the benefit will be passed on to end users, lowering medical treatment costs overall.
